Recruitment Process

The Optima process
  • Seven steps to recruitment success…
 
1   A Contractor applies to Optima Site Solutions for work.

2 We obtain their full details and copies of qualifications and CV’s where appropriate.

3 2 work references from reputable sources are then taken and checked. We look for at least 5 years where possible.
Good references: Contractor is accepted
Bad references: Contractor is rejected

4 Once the references have been checked, skills and suitability assessments have been undertaken, the contractor will be given details of appropriate contracts available.

5 Once a suitable Contractor is found for a project they are then given full contact details for the project.

6 At the end of each Contract the client will be asked to complete an appraisal to assess the contractors attitude, standard of work and reliability.

7 Once the appraisal is completed, we will know if the Contractor is of an acceptable standard, in which case they will be offered future contracts. Contractors with unacceptable appraisals will not be offered future work. All completed appraisal forms are available upon request.
